Cleopatra Cat Eyes

So with eye makeup being something that I am obsessed with, I am loving the cat eye looks that are popping up on the runways! Anyone who knows me knows that I always have a cat eye look. I feel like it’s such a wearable look, you can go from day to night! Also, you can change it up by doing a thin line or you can be extra dramatic and channel Cleopatra vibes (my favorite.. lol) Now I know what you’re thinking, a cat eye isn’t always the easiest to achieve. Some days that wing can cut bread and some days you’re contemplating why you even attempted, but it just takes practice! I love using the blackest black in a gel eyeliner because it’s just easier to work with and I use it with a mac angled eyeliner brush. I start off with a small amount and then build up once I get my desired shape. Then to make sure it stays secure and untouchable all day I go over it with a liquid liner to make sure it’s extra dark and dramatic! I also coat the lashes with my favorite mascara because I love that lashy look. Feel free to add falsies but during the day I just stick to mascara. Since I wear glasses I tend to put even more focus on my eyes so they don’t get lost in the shuffle but feel free to try different cat eye winged looks to find one that you’re most comfortable with! I have included some products that I use to achieve this look and also some images that inspired me! Let me know what cat eye looks are you going to try: demure or extra dramatic?
