A Revolution: Elevate Your Daily Routine for a Chic and Vibrant Life

Hey Loves,

June is such a beautiful month because it’s the halfway mark and gives you a good marking point to reevaluate how your year is going. Thankfully 2023 has been a year of transformation personally, but as someone who loves spontaneity and adventure, having too much of a routine can be a little stifling. Don’t get me wrong some structure is good and I do love pockets of routine, but other than that I like my day to be different otherwise I get restless. So, when my routine started getting a little stale, I knew it was time for a change up.

New Hair, New You

First, sometimes when people crave a change, the haircut is the first to happen. I didn’t go crazy with it, but I did drop some of that dead weight with a little snip and cut. Also, I started taking better care of it, more oiling and using better products. I used the Fable and Mane rosemary hair oil and incorporated more Kerastase, Briogeo and Olaplex products. I also recently got the Dyson Airwrap and that’s been so nice trying out different styles.

Setting yourself up for Success

Secondly, the morning routine has been amazing and something I look forward to. Starting to journal more consistently has been so helpful to me because jotting everything down from my plans to things I am grateful for helps curb my anxiety and stress. I have also been working out 4-5 days a week and going to the gym. As someone who signed up for a gym membership in early 2022, it feels good to finally go to the gym and put in that undivided time. I am gaining more confidence in the machines and between that and starting Pilates, I am excited to see how much of an impact it is going to have on me physically and mentally.

Romanticize Your Life

Finally, trying new things! It could be as simple as trying a new nail color, taking a different route, saying yes to an event you normally would have said no to and having fun to signing up for a new class, making a life change, or booking a trip. There are so many things you can do that’s new to you and that’s the fun part. This past week, I tried a new nail color, Lisbon wants a Moor and a new nail shape. It’s definitely a change for me because I have always been an OPI Big Apple Red girl so to have a pale pink color was a fun change. Also, I signed up for a class that I always wanted to try and planning for an upcoming trip, so many exciting things to come.

All in all, it’s amazing to have a routine and goals, but every once in a while it’s a beautiful thing to be able to bring some change and shake things up in your day. Granted that may look different for everyone and these were just some of the changes that I brought into my life this past week, but nevertheless June is an important month to implement some new changes and romanticize our lives.

Lots of Love,

Sahar
